Documented use: Amina Yaqin; Amina Masood Janjua; Amina Sarfraz Cheema.
The readable Amina entry
Ahmed’s readable Amina entry gives trustworthy and honest and points to Aamina. The clipped entry is not used to supply another meaning or a personal character judgment.[1]
Amina Yaqin’s first-person Lahore memory
On the Decolonising SOAS Who We Are page, Amina Yaqin says that she grew up in Lahore. Her first-person account describes joining the permanent academic staff in 2000, teaching Urdu and working across literary, gender and postcolonial studies. This is a direct attributed account of a Lahore connection, rather than a place inferred from a name. The inspected body came through a public reader after direct access returned 403. The page is undated, so its staff-role wording is retained as autobiographical context, without claiming that every described appointment remains current.[2]
A heading and a transposed spelling
Front Line Defenders heads its profile Amina Masood Janjua and credits her as founder of Defence of Human Rights Pakistan. Its body also prints Januja, transposing letters from the heading. That discrepancy belongs to this particular profile; it does not establish a separate bearer or a preferred alternative spelling. The selected professional description also names poetry, art and human-rights law. Those are attributed profile credits, without drawing a personal-name meaning from the organisation’s work.[3]
A research allocation has conditions
Punjab University’s notification lists Amina Sarfraz Cheema as an assistant professor at the College of Art and Design, with an approved allocation of 200,000 in row three. Its approval text identifies a committee meeting on 12 November 2021 and the 2021–2022 budget. Payment remained subject to clearance by the Treasurer’s Office. The actual image therefore documents a named allocation and its explicitly stated conditions, rather than proof that money was paid or a project completed. It supplies no independent publication date or current appointment for the named faculty member.[4]
