What this reader application stores locally and which external services it uses.
What this application stores
Saved article IDs and orientation completion markers are stored in your browser only when you use those features. They are not synced to an account by this application. You can clear them from their controls or remove the site’s browser storage.
The application does not include analytics, advertising pixels, a mailing-list service or a public upload form. It does not collect family stories, addresses, lesson answers or payment details.
Search and external resources
Search loads the site’s static index. Search terms may appear in your browser’s URL so a search can be revisited or shared; this application does not send them to an analytics service. Images and font files are hosted with the site.
Opening a cited archive, museum or other external link sends you to that service, whose own policies apply. The Sites hosting and sign-in infrastructure may process technical access information under its own terms; this application’s local-storage description does not describe all platform processing.
Before adding a new service
Any future analytics, contact provider or email subscription needs its actual data flows, responsible operator, contact details and retention choices documented before activation. No such service is represented as operating in this edition.
