Recognising jeem

Compare the chart’s ث ج چ ح and their dots.[1]

The dictionary gives جگہ with a location or place sense. Find ج at its beginning and keep its lower dot visible. Follow the rest of the word before copying it beside the selected meaning. Recognise the initial consonant inside this complete spelling, rather than reducing the headword to an isolated shape or guessing its meaning from its length.[2]

Recognise che in the letter word

The separate چٹھی entry supplies a letter or correspondence sense. Compare its initial چ with the initial ج in the place example: the lower dots differ. Keep the remaining letters in the letter word, including the he-shaped component that appears after the retroflex letter. Copy the whole checked spelling and locate the beginning again before looking back at the meaning. Its additional marks and components belong to the actual word even though later lessons explain them separately.[3]

Locate the undotted form in condition

The condition entry records حال. Its initial ح has no lower dots like the previous two initials. Follow the remaining alif and lam after identifying that beginning. Copy the complete word and match it with the selected condition or state meaning. The exercise asks for the correspondence word from actual dictionary headwords; distinguish their consonant shapes first, then use the meanings as a second check.[4]
