Recognise seen in head
The dictionary records سر for head. Locate س at its beginning before following the final ر. Compare the initial with the displayed isolated form, then copy the complete headword beside its selected meaning. Keep the consonants together while using the English meaning as a memory cue. The exercise later asks for this whole word rather than an isolated alphabet shape.[2]
Compare sheen in prey
The separate entry gives شکار with prey or victim senses; use prey here. Its initial ش has three upper dots, unlike س in the head example. Locate those dots before following the remaining letters. Copy the whole word and retain its internal alif. The dictionary’s related compounds are not interchangeable with the selected main noun, so do not change the exercise meaning to hunting merely from a familiar association.[3]
